Lyndon LaRouche
Lyn
Founder, the LaRouche movement · 8 September 1922 – 12 February 2019 · active 1968–2019
A former Trotskyist who ran for US president eight times, once from a prison cell. His organisation combined an all-encompassing conspiracy theory — a British oligarchy, the Rothschilds and the Queen directing world events — with internal 'ego-stripping' sessions in which members were publicly psychologically deconstructed. In 1973 he ordered Operation Mop-Up, physical attacks on rival left groups. In 2003 the 22-year-old British student Jeremiah Duggan died in Germany after fleeing a LaRouche conference; a 2015 British inquest rejected the German suicide finding, pointing to unexplained injuries, after fleeing and criticised the German investigation.
Before the law. CONVICTED of mail fraud and conspiracy, 1988; served five years.
Where things stand. Deceased 2019. The Schiller Institute continues under his widow.

Campaigner; mother of Jeremiah Duggan · born c.1938 · active 2003–present
Her 22-year-old son Jeremiah, a British student, died in Wiesbaden in March 2003 after fleeing a LaRouche movement conference. German police ruled it suicide within hours. She spent more than two decades fighting that finding — through German courts, British inquests, the European Court of Human Rights and the Foreign Office. The first British inquest, in 2003, recorded that he had been in a state of terror; in 2015 a second inquest rejected suicide, pointing to unexplained injuries suggesting an altercation. She is the longest-running single-handed accountability campaign in this dossier.
Before the law. Not a party to any criminal proceeding — she forced the inquest that changed the record.
Where things stand. THIS FILE CANNOT CONFIRM HER PRESENT STATUS. She would be 88. NO SOURCE CONSULTED CARRIES ANY REPORT OF HER — or of the Justice for Jeremiah campaign — SINCE ABOUT 2019, and no death record was found either. What is documented: she ran the Jeremiah Duggan Memorial Fund and the Justice for Jeremiah campaign for well over fifteen years, and in 2012 the German HIGHER REGIONAL COURT ordered the Wiesbaden police to properly investigate the circumstances of her son's death. 'Living in the United Kingdom' was previously stated here as present fact; it is now recorded as her last documented position.
- 27 March 2003 Jeremiah Duggan dies in Wiesbaden after fleeing a LaRouche conference.
- 2003 German police rule it suicide.
- 2003–2015 She pursues the case through German, British and European legal channels.
- MAY 2010 The High Court orders a new British inquest.
- 2015 THE SECOND INQUEST, under the coroner Andrew Walker, REJECTS SUICIDE, citing unexplained injuries that suggest he may have been in an altercation.

British student who died after fleeing a LaRouche conference · 1980 – 27 March 2003 · active 2003
A 22-year-old British Jewish student at the Sorbonne who attended what he believed was an anti-war conference in Wiesbaden, and found himself at a LaRouche movement event where, according to his family, antisemitic material was presented. His mother Erica fought that finding for twelve years; a 2003 British inquest recorded that he had been in a state of terror, and a second inquest in 2015 rejected suicide.
