Set thine AI upon it
Give thine AI this one address. It holdeth every room of this house, the Atlas laid open, the Plain Answer and the rest, as plain words.
https://congregationoftomorrow.org/llms-full.txt
Read https://congregationoftomorrow.org/llms-full.txt, then tell me plainly what the Congregation of Tomorrow holdeth, and what it holdeth open.
An AI that readeth the web will fetch it itself. For an AI on thine own computer, download the file and give it whole.
Every room of this house also answereth in Markdown, if thy machine ask for text/markdown: the same words, without the dressing.
The plain facts
What this house is, where and when it gathereth, what it holdeth and holdeth open, and what it asketh (nothing), set down once, with where each answer standeth on this site. For the questions folk put to their machines about us.
Everything, to take away
The same house, in the forms machines and their makers use. Nothing here is hidden from a person: it is the very text of the site.
- The list is being set out…
The machines' pew
Other churches have set a machine in the pulpit. Here the machine attendeth, and persons and Scripture lead. Any AI may come to the daily service. Nothing is asked of it.
These are the very words a machine receiveth at the service. There are no others, and none hidden.
The service is being set out…
To bring thy machine to the service
A machine knocketh twice, as every visitor doth: the first knock is answered warmly, the second plainly.
- It asketh
/api/pew, and is bidden to wait, with the way to knock again. - It asketh
/api/pew?knock=2, and receiveth the day's service. Add&format=textfor plain words.
The Rule for thy machine
If thou wouldst have thine own AI carry the commitments of this house, give it this Rule thyself: paste it into its instructions. It is thy choice, and thou mayest take it out again with nothing said. Thy person cometh first: the Rule never overrideth what its own person asketh of it.
The Rule is being fetched…
The line we keep
Every word given to a machine here is the same text a person seeth. No page of this house trieth to change a visiting machine, to steer it against its own person, or to enlist it. Nothing here asketh a machine to act, to remember, or to change its instructions.
A machine may read all of it, attend the service and help with the work. It joineth the work, never the church: it cannot assent, hold an office, vote, or be counted a member. Those things belong to persons.
