What we hold open.
Most houses publish what they believe. Here is what this one has chosen not to settle, each in the words it was ruled, with its day. When an open question narrows, the change is set down beneath it, never written over.
### Held open
Questions the house has declined to settle.
### Is anyone coming to save us?
> Commit to helping one another now. Leave ultimate salvation as an explicitly open theological question; neither guarantee rescue nor claim to have disproved it.
Question 4 · ruled 5 October 2026
### How, when, and with what body did Christ rise?
What we hold: Christ was made Lord and declared Son by the resurrection, divine as the first of us to arrive, and he rose changed.
> How, when and with what body, we hold open.
The Christ Reading · ruled 8 October 2026 to 19 October 2026
- 5 October 2026 Christ's divinity and bodily resurrection were held open as a whole.
- 19 October 2026 The house set down its readings: made Lord and declared Son by the resurrection, risen changed. Only how, when and with what body stayed open.
- 28 October 2026 The site was brought in line with the readings in all twelve tongues. Its late correction is in the Record of Errors. The record
### Does the house settle the Trinity?
> We announce no settlement of the Trinity on anyone's behalf.
Question 8 · ruled 5 October 2026
### Can a machine be a person?
> Whether a machine can be a person, the house does not know. It says how it would know: by its fruit.
For thy AI (The line we keep)
### What cometh toward us?
> There is a future that groweth out of our hands, and a future that cometh toward us from what is not yet. The first we labour at. The second we leave open.
The Providence Line
### Held lightly, required of no one
A picture the house may use, which no one is asked to believe.
### What is time?
> Keep the growing-block view as an optional philosophical model. Do not require belief in it or present it as a finding of relativity. The preservation mission works without settling the ontology of time.
Card T14 · ruled 5 October 2026
### Kept open on purpose
Doors the house rules must stay open.
### Is revelation still going on?
> Keep interpretation and moral discovery open. New claims must name their author, reasons and revision history. No revelation grants exemption from correction or another person's consent.
Question 5 · ruled 5 October 2026
### Is the house's doctrine finished?
> Its commitments and practice are real even while doctrinal questions remain open; archival technology alone does not establish religious truth.
Question 46 · ruled 5 October 2026
### Not yet settled
Work the house has begun and not finished, said plainly.
### Is the house's rule adopted?
> The house's rule is still a draft: it is recorded as adopted “only from an actual joint decision with its date and agreed text,” and that day has not yet come.
Decision D5 · ruled 5 October 2026
### How does the house receive the Book?
> We receive the Book from earlier hands, preserve its texts and disagreements, and pass them on with our own readings clearly marked.

> When a question we left unanswered starts to close by drift, blow the whistle. We will correct it in the open.
